Thompsons Station

About Thompsons Station

Thompson’s Station is a small rural town conveniently located directly between Franklin and Spring Hill. It is a tranquil town who’s soft landscape, and rolling hills offer an inviting atmosphere that is worlds apart from hectic urban lifestyles, yet near to all the world-renowned attractions of Franklin and Nashville. The town is steeped in history, from its earliest settlers in 1780 to being home to the Civil War’s stirring Battle of Thompson’s Station, and was a stop along the Great Train Trail.

A reconstructed version of the Thompson’s Station train depot sits along the railroad tracks that run through town and serves as the Town Hall. Thompson’s Station is also home to H Clark Distillery, the first legal distillery in Williamson County in over 100 years.
